Here are some movies of these rapids as seen
from the main viewing platform at the rest area
   

For each movie there is a "Regular resolution" and a "High resolution" version.

  • If you are on a broadband (high-speed) Internet connection, view the "high-resolution" version. This version is almost full-screen (640 x 480).
     

  • If you are on a dial-up (slower-speed) Internet connection, you may wish to view the "regular resolution" version instead. This is a reduced size (320 x 240).

These movies were taken with a Canon Powershot S2IS digital camera with movie capabilities. Even so, the quality is remarkably good.
